Alterations

Alterations are an exciting part of the process leading up to your special day. It doesn’t matter if you have purchased a Bridal Gown, bridesmaid gown, Mother’s Gown, Prom or special occasion gown from us, alterations means your special day is quickly approaching. Our alterations process is set up to help you look and feel amazing on your big day with an enjoyable and stress free experience! 

  • ALL fittings are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday – NO Saturday appointments – Saturdays are a hectic day in the bridal industry and we want to be sure the attention for your fitting is on you.

  • Bridal Gown fittings should begin 3-4 months before the wedding – rest assured if this timeframe is not possible due to shipping we will still make it happen for you. Starting early is just less stress on you.

  • All other gowns fittings should begin 2-3 months before the event (with the exception of prom; prom is a very quick moving process and timing will be discussed at the time of purchase)

  • Always bring the shoes you will be wearing to ALL of your fitting appointments.
  • You should also bring any special undergarments (ex: strapless bra, bustier (for women with larger bust), or any slimming undergarments) to ALL of your fittings to ensure a proper fit.

  • At a minimum you will have an Initial Fitting to be pinned for alterations and a final fitting, but keep in mind there may need to be more fittings to make sure your gown is a perfect fit!

  • A deposit of 60% will be due at the time of alterations and the final balance due once complete.

  • Lastly…Please be open and honest with us. We truly want you to feel amazing in your gown!
